CHARITIES 2009/2010

CHRISTMAS BOXES

Every year the children make christmas boxes to send to children suffering through war, poverty, natural disaster and disease.  The charity "Operation Christmas Child" collect the boxes and send them to countries in Eastern Europe and beyond.

CHILDREN IN NEED

This year we held a Cafe in the school hall.  The Reception children made biscuits to sell and Year 1 brought in some lovely cakes.  The Friends of Nettleham Infant School sold tea and coffee and the Year 2 children were waiters/waitresses.  Lots of friends and families came to the cafe and we made a total of £529.19.  Thank you to everyone who helped on the day and gave donations to make the event such a great success.  Click on the link below to see what a busy time we had.
